How much do Bengals cost?
A Bengal pet is defined as a cat that is not for breeding. It may be show quality and often is. Most of my kittens will do well in the show ring.
The price for a pet overall varies from $1500 to $3500 or more, but some go down to $800 or even less on occasion. The general price range of kittens for our kittens is $1800-$2500 with most of our kittens priced at $2200, which is about the average going price for Bengals these days. This includes spay or neuter, microchip implant and basic vaccinations.
We’ve recently increased our prices to cover the increased costs of early spay and neuter by $200 because our early spay/neuter costs went up. Even with that increase, you save the cost of spay and neuter which is about $400-600.You also save the time and aftercare involved with this procedure. Early spay and neuter is a service we provide helps make your kitten experience more enjoyable.
Placing kittens is one of the joys of breeding. I’ve met so many interesting people and often hear back from them on occasion. I’ve even made a few friends along the way.
Most quality pure bred kittens go start at $1500-2500 and more, so this price range is consistent with other breeds considering the popularity of the Bengal breed. Since they’re very popular so you can expect to pay more for a quality kitten compared to a similar quality purebred.
Sometimes we have kittens for less if they have a faults, or aren’t what I consider to be higher quality or have been passed up continually for other kittens.
- Adults go for $250 to $600 depending on age..
- Older cats are priced depending on age and overall quality from $200 to $500.
Please see this web page for more pricing information. *Note: Current prices due to early spay and neuter costs because of COVID related inflation have increased which currently isn’t addressed on this web page. Vets are unable to handle the number of animals, so they’re increased their prices as much a double what it was prior to COVID.
